Currently, employees who are enrolled in the diocesan health insurance program, are eligible for and shall be enrolled in the diocesan dental and vision BASE plan, at no cost to the employee. However, ALL employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible to enroll in the diocesan dental and vision BUY-UP plan, at the employee’s expense.

Diocesan employees are covered by Workers’ Compensation insurance which is provided and administered by Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corporation, commonly referred to as LWCC. Workers’ Compensation is mandatory in the State of Louisiana and is a benefit provided to employees who are injured on the job.
