Immaculata Chapel (1408 Carmel Drive, Lafayette 70501) will host the annual Mass honoring women dedicated to the consecrated Life, with Bishop Michael Jarrell to serve as celebrant. The Mass will be followed by lunch in Marian Hall for those who are being honored.
This year's honorees include:

Sister Audrey Fontenot, MSC (70 years)
Sister Anne Seelaus, OCD (70 years)
Mother Mary John Billeaud, OCD (60 years)
Sister Mary DeRouen, O.Carm (60 years)
Sister Evelyn Mire, O.Carm (60 years)
Sister Mary Kay Veillon, MSC (60 years)
Sister Joel Miller, MSC (50 years)
Sister Barbara Moreau, RSCJ (50 years)
Sister Mary Savita, MC (25 years)
Sister Madeline Sophie Hebert, MHS, will also be honored posthumously for 85 years of religious life. She passed away just a few weeks ago at the age of 102.
"They have left a legacy of faith," Bishop Jarrell points out in his message of commendation. "The people of the Diocese of Lafayette love the sisters and appreciate their prayers and good works over many decades. They have left a legacy of faith which continues to bear fruit to this day. I pray for God's blessings upon all in consecrated life."
