A Service of Nine Lessons and Carols will be held at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 914 St. John Street in downtown Lafayette, on Sunday evening, December 14th at 7:30 p.m. Through story and song, the service recounts salvation history from the first moment of our disobedience in the Garden of Eden until the coming of the Messiah. The Cathedral Choir, under the direction of Thomas Niel, will sing seasonal carols, old and new. Father Chester Arceneaux, Pastor of the Cathedral, will preside. This service is open to the public free of charge.
