All of Acadiana is invited to come out and enjoy the annual Sacred Heart Family Congé 2014 and celebrate spring at this fun family event.
The day will begin at 8:05 a.m. with the Course du Congé, a 5K trail run followed by a one-mile obstacle challenge at 9:30 a.m. Both races will begin and end at the grounds of Schools of the Sacred Heart. Race entry forms are available on the school’s website, www.sshcoteau.org.
Festivities for the entire family begin at 10:00 a.m. Children of all ages can enjoy games and recreation including a rock climbing wall, pony rides, face painting, dunking booth, confetti eggs, and many outdoor booth games. Congé raffle tickets will be sold for a chance to win $1,000 and other prizes. Entertainment includes a food court, live music and a silent auction offering stylish gifts and weekend getaways.
