Diocesan Marriage Anniversary Mass- Annual Mass celebrated by Bishop Deshotel on World Marriage Day, second Sunday in February, for those celebrating 25, 40, 50, 60, 60+ years of marriage within that calendar year. Locations vary throughout the Diocese of Lafayette.

Pastoral Counseling – Rev. Jude Halphen, Ph.D. in the Office of Marriage & Family Life specializes in adults only. Couples, families, and indivduals in crisis can contact our office to inquire about pastoral counseling services and our referral list. Referrals can be made to counselors and outpatient facilities, drug rehabilitation programs, and family/parenting programs who have agreed to work with our office.  World Wide Marriage Encounter – designed for couples looking to listen, share and   connect on a deeper level. This “get away” weekend is held in various locations throughout   the state

Grief Programs throughout the Diocese of Lafayette - Please visit our grief page for more information on retreats, programs, and supports groups. Topics include the loss of a child at any age, suicide support group (for those that lost a loved one to suicide), post-abortion healing, resources for grieving children, national hotlines, etc.

Pornography Addiction Resources - Covenant Eyes helps families to prevent access to pornography over their internet connection. E-books, guides to protecting children online, and support for spouses of someone addicted to pornography, and many other resources are also available.

Post Abortion Healing for Men and Women - Enables individuals to find understanding, forgiveness, healing and wholeness through the church’s ministry. Our Office of Pro-Life Apostolate offers Project Rachel and Rachel's vineyard for men and women. Beginning in 2021, Project Joseph, a healing retreat for men, will be offered.
