Chalice Blessing

Bishop Douglas Deshotel blessed the new chalices of Deacons Casey Dugas, Seth Lemaire and Connor Poirrier during a service at Immaculata Chapel, as the ordinands' proud parents looked on. The chalices were anointed with Holy Chrism Oil and Bishop Deshotel designated them for use in the Liturgy. They will be ordained by Bishop Deshotel Saturday morning at 10 a.m. during Mass at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.
