Presbyteral Study Days

Priests from throughout the Diocese of Lafayette gathered at the Immaculata Center in Lafayette on April 24 and 25, 2018 to further their education. They heard from guest speakers, including several of their fellow priests, on a number of topics aimed at continuing their priestly studies, as well as participating in prayer and fellowship. 108 of the Diocese's priests were able to attend. Two special guest speakers from the Franciscan University of Steubenville addressed the clergy. James Pauley, STD is a professor of Theology and William Keimig is the Assistant Director of the Catechetical Institute. They covered practical implementation of topics such as sacramental preparation, religious education, and catechist formation.
