RCIA Rite of Election

Bishop Douglas Deshotel welcomed 147 Catechumens and Candidates to the RCIA Rite of Election, their final step before joining the Catholic faith on Easter Saturday. The prayer service was held on the first Sunday of Lent, February 18, 2018 at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. It was standing room only as the Cathedral was packed with sponsors, godparents, RCIA leaders, and proud family members and friends. Please keep these Catechumens and Candidates in your prayers as they complete their final RCIA studies, and please welcome them as they join church parishes throughout the Diocese.
