2. If a Catholic and another baptized person marry anywhere with a Dispensation from Canonical Form:
the Formal Process is used.
3. If a Catholic, who has not defected by a formal act, and another baptized person many anywhere
without a Dispensation from Canonical Form: the Lack of Form is used.
4. If a Catholic and Unbaptized Person marry in the Catholic Church with Dispensation from Disparity of
Cult: the Formal Process or the Petrine (Favor of the Faith) Process is used.
5. If a Catholic and Unbaptized Person marry in the Catholic Church without a Dispensation from
Disparity of Cult: the Documentary Process is used.
6. If a Catholic and Unbaptized Person marry anywhere with Dispensations from Canonical Form and
Disparity of Cult: the Formal Process or the Petrine (Favor of the Faith) Process is used.
7. If a Catholic and Unbaptized Person marry anywhere without a Dispensation from Canonical Form:
the Lack of Form is used.
8. If two Baptized Persons who are free to marry, regardless of where the wedding took place as long
as it was a public ceremony: the Formal Process is used.
9. If two Baptized Persons, where one has been previously married and whose spouse is still alive:
Ligamen is used.
10. If a Baptized Person and an Unbaptized Person who are free to marry, regardless of where the
wedding took place as long as it is a public ceremony: the Formal Process or the Petrine
(Favor of the Faith) Process is used.
11. If a Baptized Person and an Unbaptized Person, where one has been previously married and whose
spouse is still alive: Ligamen is used.
12. If two Unbaptized Persons who are free to marry, where one converts/or will convert to Christianity
and is not the fault of the split: the Pauline Process. The Formal Process or the Petrine (Favor of the
Faith) Process can be used when either of the two aforementioned conditions are not present.
13. If two Unbaptized Persons, where one has been previously married and whose spouse is still alive:
Ligamen is used.
