Natural Family Planning (NFP) and its relationship to St. John Paul the Great’s Theology of the Body/Theology of the Family
Join Fr. Blake Dubroc as we end NFP awareness week on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 9:00am-12:00pm at Immaculata Center, 1408 Carmel Drive, Lafayette.
Fr. Dubroc will help participants receive a better understanding of the theology behind NFP; the teachings of the church, and an explanation of the different natural family planning methods. After the presentation, you will have a better understanding on “What is NFP?” as well as how to promote NFP within your parish. The morning is open to all individuals/couples that are interested in becoming an instructor for NFP, DRE in the parish, marriage prep coordinator, Religious Curriculum Administrators, mentor couples, etc. The superintendent of Catholic Schools has approved 3 formation hours for this event. Elective credit offered toward any level of Catechist Certification in the Franciscan Catechetical Institute.
